Kenneth R. Tomkovich, M.D.
Kenneth Tomkovich is a graduate of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Political Science. Dr. Tomkovich completed his medical degree at the University of Medicine & Dentistry, New Jersey Medical School. After an internship at the Jersey Shore Medical Center, he returned to the University of Medicine & Dentistry for a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at New Jersey University Hospital, serving as Chief Resident in Radiology. He then completed Fellowship training in Vascular & Interventional Radiology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Board Certified by the American College of Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular & Interventional Radiology, Dr. Tomkovich also holds several other certifications, including a Level II Certification in Coronary CT Angiography from the American College of Cardiology. He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Radiology, and a member of the American College of Radiology, the Medical Society of New Jersey, the Radiological Society of New Jersey, the Society of Interventional Radiology, the Medical Society of Monmouth County, the American Roentgen Ray Society, and the American Medical Association. A prolific researcher, Dr. Tomkovich has authored or co-authored articles in several medical journals, including Respiratory Medicine, Academic Radiology, Emergency Radiology, and the American Journal of Radiology. He has also presented papers at numerous medical conferences.
